COURSE DESCRIPTION

Working at Height Awareness

This course provides essential knowledge of working safely at height, helping employees understand the risks and how to prevent falls in accordance with current legislation.

    • Duration: Half day

    • Certification: CertCom

    • Refresher: Every 2–3 years

    • Assessment: Written or verbal

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Employees working at height

    • Construction and maintenance staff

    • Facilities and warehouse workers

    • Anyone exposed to fall risks

    • Working at Height Regulations

    • Common hazards and risk factors

    • Hierarchy of control measures

    • Safe use of equipment

    • Emergency procedures

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior experience required

  • Learners complete a short assessment. Certification is issued upon successful completion.
