COURSE DESCRIPTION

Scaffolding Safety Awareness

This course provides essential knowledge of scaffolding safety, helping workers understand the risks associated with scaffolds and how to work safely at height in compliance with current regulations.

    • Certification: CertCom

    • Refresher: Every 2–3 years

    • Assessment: Written or verbal

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Construction and site operatives

    • Labourers working near scaffolding

    • Supervisors and team leaders

    • Anyone working at height

    • Types of scaffolding systems

    • Common hazards and risks

    • Working at height regulations

    • Safe access and egress

    • PPE and fall protection

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior experience required

  • Learners complete a short assessment. Certification is issued upon successful completion.
