COURSE DESCRIPTION

Traffic Lights (Portable / Temporary Signals)

This course trains operatives in the correct use of portable traffic light systems, commonly used for short-duration or mobile roadworks.

    • Duration: 1 day

    • Certification: NHSS 12D M6

    • Refresher: Every 5 years

    • Assessment: Practical

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Traffic management operatives

    • Maintenance crews

    • Short-term roadworks teams

    • Portable traffic light systems

    • Safe installation and removal

    • Battery and control unit operation

    • Risk management

    • Troubleshooting

    • M1–M4 certification recommended
