NHSS 12A/B Skilled Traffic Management Operative

This course is designed for experienced operatives progressing to skilled status, enabling them to install and manage more complex traffic management systems.

    • Duration: 2–3 days

    • Certification: NHSS 12AB Skilled Operative

    • Refresher: Every 5 years

    • Assessment: Practical and written

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Existing traffic management operatives

    • TTMO progressing to skilled level

    • Experienced roadworks personnel

    • Complex traffic management layouts

    • Advanced risk assessment

    • Traffic flow control

    • Coordination with site teams

    • Compliance with NHSS standards

    • Current TTMO or operative experience

  • Practical and written assessments required. Certification confirms skilled operative status.
