COURSE DESCRIPTION

Level 2 Award in Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces

This nationally recognised qualification provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to safely enter and work in low risk confined spaces.

    • Duration: 1 day

    • Certification: Level 2 Award / Ofqual-regulated

    • Refresher: Every 3 years

    • Assessment: Written and practical

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Operatives entering low risk confined spaces

    • Maintenance personnel

    • Utilities workers

    • Construction operatives

    • Identifying low risk environments

    • Safe entry procedures

    • Hazard identification and control

    • Permit systems

    • Emergency procedures

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior qualifications required

  • Assessment includes practical observation and a written test. Accredited certification is awarded on completion.
