COURSE DESCRIPTION

CC01 Confined Spaces Awareness (Non-Entrant)

This course provides essential awareness of confined space hazards for individuals who do not enter confined spaces but have responsibilities for overseeing or working nearby.

    • Duration: Half day

    • Certification: CertCom / CABWI

    • Refresher: Every 2–3 years

    • Assessment: Written or verbal

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Supervisors and managers

    • Safety representatives

    • Entry controllers (non-entrants)

    • Staff working near confined spaces

    • What defines a confined space

    • Common hazards and risks

    • Roles and responsibilities

    • Permit-to-work awareness

    • Emergency procedures

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior qualifications required

  • Learners complete a short assessment. Certification is issued upon successful completion.
