COURSE DESCRIPTION

Harness & Fall Protection Training

This course focuses on the safe selection, use and inspection of harnesses and fall protection equipment to prevent serious injury when working at height.

    • Duration: Half day

    • Certification: CertCom

    • Refresher: Every 2–3 years

    • Assessment: Practical

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • Workers using fall arrest systems

    • Construction and roofing operatives

    • Maintenance teams

    • Supervisors managing work at height

    • Types of fall protection systems

    • Correct fitting and use of harnesses

    • Inspection and maintenance

    • Anchor points and safety lines

    • Emergency rescue awareness

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior qualifications required

  • Assessment is practical-based. Certification issued upon successful completion.
