COURSE DESCRIPTION

Health & Safety Awareness

This course provides a solid foundation in workplace health and safety, helping employees understand their responsibilities and how to identify and manage risks effectively.

    • Duration: Half day

    • Certification: CertCom

    • Refresher: Every 2–3 years

    • Assessment: Written or verbal

    • Location: Northern Ireland

    • All employees across any industry

    • New starters and induction groups

    • Office and site-based staff

    • Anyone requiring basic safety awareness

    • Key health and safety legislation

    • Roles and responsibilities of employers and employees

    • Common workplace hazards

    • Risk assessments and control measures

    • Reporting accidents and near misses

    • Minimum age 16

    • No prior experience required

  • Learners complete a written and/or practical assessment. Certification is awarded upon successful completion.
